The SOYO building was a Methodist church and remained for over 100 years, the site went though a number of changes of use until March 2009. After an extensive development SOYO opened its doors to the people of Sheffield with one aim, to provide the city’s ever evolving nightlife with a venue it could be proud of.

Stylish and playful, SOYO is the perfect place to wind down after a long day and dance the night away with a cocktail in hand and a must destination for a great night out in Sheffield. Our mix of weekly events provides the sound track to your week and weekend, from live bands to some of Sheffield’s best-known resident DJ's playing all night long. SOYO caters for your every need all under one roof! Its all good, it’s all night and you're all welcome.

SOYO is a flexible venue that can also provide corporate hire for business functions, office parties, special events and Christmas bookings. With tailored packages to suit your exact requirements we offer a range of services 7 days a week from early until late. For groups from 5 to 450, with special promotions, djs and catering options available upon request.

You'll find us in the centre of Sheffield in South Yorkshire on Rockingham Street ideally located between the busy Division Street and West Street strips.

Saturday is SOYO’s flagship night, this is were Sheffield’s finest want to be seen. A night were we get the best of the best of Sheffield DJ’s and put them in one venue for your pleasure.

The main room we have Sandy Turnbull, Sandy has been around longer than his young face belies, he was resident for 2 of Sheffield’s biggest venues Bed and Gatecrasher and is immense selection of premium House, Disco & Funk will have you dancing the night away.

Yo Bar we have the one and only Craig Andrews, what he doesn’t know about Old Skool RnB & New Jack swing is not worth knowing. This room is very popular so you need to get down early to get a good spot to enjoy the night.
